Common name: Helmet Snails

Cassidae, commonly known as Helmet Snails or Bonnet Snails, are a family of large, predatory sea snails. These snails are found in tropical and subtropical seas and are known for their carnivorous diet, often feeding on echinoderms such as sea urchins.
