They are popular in the reefkeeping hobby for their scavenging abilities and unique appearance. Stenorhynchus species are generally peaceful but can be territorial. They feed on detritus, leftover food, and sometimes bristle worms, making them beneficial for tank cleanliness. However, caution is advised as they may prey on small, slow-moving fish or other invertebrates.
