Signigobius is a genus of gobies known for their unique communication methods and striking appearance. Members of this genus, such as the Signal Goby (Signigobius biocellatus), are characterized by their twin spot markings and elaborate fin displays. They are sand sifters, playing a role in aerating the substrate and controlling detritus in the aquarium. These gobies prefer established tanks with ample sandy bottoms and peaceful tank mates. They are known to pair up, so keeping them in pairs can encourage natural behavior.
