Sufflamen is a genus of triggerfish found in tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide. These fish are known for their unique rhomboid body shape, vibrant colors, and distinctive dorsal fin mechanism that can be 'triggered' up or down. They are intelligent and can be quite personable, but they may show aggression towards tank mates. In the aquarium, they require ample space and plenty of hiding spots. They are omnivores, feeding on a variety of meaty foods and some plant matter.
