Eupolymnia is a genus of marine segmented worms belonging to the family Terebellidae. These worms are known for their ornate, feathery tentacles which they use for filter feeding. They are popular in the reefkeeping hobby for their unique appearance and their role in nutrient export by consuming particulate organic matter. Eupolymnia species are generally hardy and can adapt to a variety of tank conditions, making them suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists. They often construct a tube-like structure out of sediment and mucus to protect their soft bodies.
