Forcipiger is a genus of butterflyfishes known for their elongated snouts which they use to extract prey from crevices. They are popular in the reefkeeping hobby for their striking yellow and black coloration and peaceful nature. Members of this genus are generally hardy but require a varied diet including small crustaceans and marine worms. They are best kept in tanks with plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding.
